Import Layer with attributes (SHP, geojson only)

This is new function in MapIt (introduced in version 5.0.5) and available for users with MapIt Pro extension.

Import Layer with attributes

The functionality allows to import existing shp or geojson layers into MapIt and maintain the information for all the existing information in table fields or geojson properties.

The limitation of this kind of import is that all the fields will be available in ‘Edit Feature’ screen as the free entry Text Boxes.

If you need to entry the data using drop-down lists with predefined values – you must import the data into the Empty Layer connected to relevant attribute set ( using this method only fields named “name” and “description” will be imported into the layer).
